Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa has expressed condolences over the death of the mother of former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly Shahbaz Sharif.
آرمی چیف جنرل قمر جاوید باجوہ نے سابق وزیر اعظم نوازشریف اور قومی اسمبلی میں قائد حزب اختلاف شہباز شریف کی والدہ کے انتقال پر تعزیت اور رنج کا اظہار کیا ہے۔
پاک فوج کے شعبہ تعلقات عامہ (آئی ایس پی آر) کے مطابق آرمی چیف نے بیگم شمیم اختر کے انتقال پر دلی تعزیت کی اور ان کے بلند درجات کیلئے دعا کی۔
According to Pakistan Army Public Relations (ISPR), the Army Chief conveyed his heartfelt condolences on the demise of Begum Shamim Akhtar and prayed for her high rank.
The Army Chief said that may Allah Almighty raise the ranks of the late.
It may be recalled that Shamim Akhtar, mother of PML-N leader and former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Shahbaz Sharif, has passed away in London.
