Former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and former Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif's mother Shamim Akhtar's death continues to express condolences by other political leaders, including the Prime Minister of Pakistan.

وزیراعظم عمران خان نے نواز شریف کی والدہ کے انتقال پر تعزیت کا اظہار کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ اللہ تعالی مرحومہ کے درجات بلند فرمائے۔

In his condolence message, Punjab Chief Minister Usman Bazdar said that may Allah Almighty place the deceased in His mercy and grant patience to the bereaved family
Expressing condolences on the death of Nawaz Sharif's mother, Raja Zafar-ul-Haq, Leader of the Opposition in the Senate, said that she was a very virtuous person.
Expressing grief over the demise of Nawaz Sharif and Shahbaz Sharif's mother, Railway Minister Sheikh Rashid said that may Allah Almighty elevate her status and grant her a high position in Paradise.
