The French Foreign Ministry has demanded, that Pakistani authorities correct Mazari's statement in which he likened President Emmanuel McKeown's treatment of French Muslims to Nazi treatment of Jews during World War II. ۔
In a statement issued by the French Embassy, in Pakistan, Prime Minister Imran Khan's Federal Minister for Human Rights Shirin Mazari, who is in the cabinet, termed the remarks, as highly insulting and shameful for the French President, and the country. These vulgar words are utter lies based on ideologies of hatred and violence, the statement said. Such remarks by a person in such a responsible position are extremely embarrassing and we strongly condemn them.
The statement also said that he had conveyed his concerns about Pakistan to the concerned department in France in the strongest possible terms.
