Nawaz Sharif and Shahbaz Sharif's mother, passed away

 Former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and former Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif's mother Shamim Akhtar has passed away.

ذرائع کے  مطابق نواز  شریف کی  والدہ کی  طبیعت گزشتہ  ایک ماہ  سے ہی  خراب تھی  لیکن  گزشتہ چند  روز سے  ان کی  طبیعت بہت  زیادہ  خراب تھی  اور  ان کا انتقال  ایون فیلڈ  اپارٹمنٹس  میں  ہوا۔

PML-N leader Ata Tarar, announced the death of Shamim Akhtar, on a social networking site.

According to sources, Nawaz Sharif's mother had been in critical condition, for the past one month but had been in critical condition, for the past few days and died at Avonfield Apartments.

Former Prime Minister, Nawaz Sharif's mother died in London where Nawaz Sharif, is undergoing treatment while Shahbaz Sharif is currently in Lahore jail.

According to Sharif family sources, Begum Shamim Akhtar's funeral prayers will be offered in London and her body will be sent to Pakistan tomorrow. However, there is no possibility of Nawaz Sharif coming to Pakistan with her body.

Prime Minister Imran Khan, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain, Chaudhry Monis Elahi, Sheikh Rashid, Abdul Aleem Khan, Raja Zafarul Haq, Punjab Chief Minister Usman Bazdar, Convener MQM Pakistan Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui and Mustafa Kamal among others. Condolences have been expressed on the death of Sharif and Shahbaz Sharif's mother.
