KARACHI: Five people were killed and several others injured in an explosion near Maskan Chowrangi in Gulshan-e-Iqbal.
According to Geo News, an explosion took place in a residential building located at Maskan Chowrangi of Gulshan-e-Iqbal around 9.30 am on Wednesday.
A private bank was also located under the building, while the blast caused part of the building to collapse, burying vehicles parked under it.

Police confirmed the blast in the building, saying it had severely damaged the building and completely destroyed two floors, while several people were injured.
According to Faisal Edhi, head of the Edhi Foundation, five people were killed in the blast.
Among those injured were bank staff, while a bank guard was also killed in the blast.
The three dead have been identified
According to DG Health Sindh, 28 people were injured in the blast, including women and children.
According to police, the three people killed in the blast have been identified as Amir, Yasir and Khalid.
