PDM meeting: Murad Ali Shah announces case against Captain Safdar, formation of            committee to know facts of arrest

Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah has said that a committee comprising government ministers should be formed to look into the facts related to the registration of case against Capt (retd) Safdar and his arrest. Will
Addressing a press conference at the Chief Minister's House on Tuesday, he said the committee would include three to five ministers, but said names had not been decided yet.
Speaking to media on Tuesday, Murad Ali Shah's tone was aggressive and he repeatedly called the case against Captain Safdar, son-in-law of PML-N leader Nawaz Sharif, "false".
He said the police were bound by the law and anyone could file a case, but while the police were conducting their operations, several other things came to light which were "worrying". "We consulted with cabinet colleagues on these concerns and it was decided that the facts should come to light, for which there should be a regular inquiry."
However, he also said that "the decision is to be made by the court, the police will investigate, I am just telling you the facts."
According to correspondent Riaz Sohail, several Pakistani TV channels showed Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah's press conference live and all eyes were eager to hear what he had to say about IG Sindh Mushtaq Mehr because the former Sindh Governor Muhammad Zubair had said on Monday that he had been told by the Chief Minister that the IG Sindh was taken to the Sector Commander's office at 4 am where the Additional IG was already present and asked him to sign Captain Safdar's warrants.
