Sir Sean Connery, who played, James Bond, has died, at the age of 90. His death, has been confirmed, by his family.

The Scottish actor, became most popular, for his role as James Bond, and was the first actor, to play the role on the, big screen. He has acted, in seven films in the James Bond, series.

Her acting career spans, decades and her numerous, awards include an Oscar, two BAFTA Awards, and three Golden, Globes.

His son, Jason, Connery, said his father, died in a peaceful, sleep in the Bahamas, and had been ill for some time.

Sir Sean Connery's other films, include The Hunt for Red, October, Indiana Jones, and The Last Crusade, and The Rock.
