Motorway case - Main accused Abid handed, over to police on physical remand



LAHORE: Abid Malhi, the main accused, in a motorway rape case, has been handed, over to police on a 15-day physical remand.

Police produced, Abid Malhi, the main accused in the, motorway abuse case, in court after a 20-day, judicial remand.

The investigating ,officer told the court that the accused, has to be interrogated and his physical, remand is required.

On this occasion, accused Abid, testified before the court that the police were not allowing, his wife to meet the children.

Later, the court granted, the request of the investigating, officer and handed over the accused, to the police on a 15-day physical remand.

It is to be noted that, the court had sent the accused, to jail on judicial remand for an identity parade where on October 12, the victim identified, the accused Abid Malhi.

The other accused, in the case, Shafqat, is already in jail on judicial remand. Both the accused, had gang-raped the woman in front of her children, after a robbery, on the Lahore-Sialkot Motorway.
